About a week ago I felt bad for my newspaper delivery guy. He carried a lot of stuff early in the morning so I could enjoy my breakfast with fresh news, but I can’t get the good stuff without some content I don’t really need or appreciate. And he does this every single day of week, that’s a lot of dead wood and ink.

But just how much? It’s kinda hard to tell by just browsing the paper. This is last Sunday’s issue of Helsingin Sanomat. I blackened out all the paid content and made a single image with all the pages. It’s not pretty but it gives some idea with a quick glance. A ruff estimate is more than half of the pages are ads or other paid content.

T came up with a marvelous idea of organizing a combined badminton and FIFA 12 tournament. The games took place today with eight players & everything worked out pretty great. It took together about nine hours, good way to get mind off from studies and work.

I visited my dad this weekend. I hadn’t been there for a while and it was good to see him. The weekend was made of bowling, sauna, the Sopranos and web development. On my way back I got a call from a friend who suggested something sports related. It sounded pretty stupid/great in so many levels, let’s see if we want to make it happen!
